Shift: 8am-5pm
The role you’ll contribute:
Director of Quality demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the organizational wide direction and facilitation of performance assessment, reassessment, development and implementation of the Quality/Performance Improvement program in accordance with all regulatory requirements
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Leading, planning and coordinating the quality and patient safety program
Create and implement the overall vision, methodology and infrastructure of the quality program
Oversee the existing quality program and develop new programs to respond to the changes in regulation, best practices and meet the demands of healthcare reform, value based purchasing and other payment programs
Contributes to the development of organizational policies procedures business operations and regulatory requirements related to quality programs, including TJC, regulatory requirements defined by state, CMS & other organization.
Oversees all elements related to infection prevention
Contributes to the development of policies and procedures related to the quality program. supervises the day to day operations of the quality program and contributes to workflow analysis and redesign.
Oversees the medical staff office and elements within, related to OPPE, FPPE and peer review.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
BSN required; MSN preferred
Georgia RN license required
Hospital based RN experience of 5 years
Quality Improvement experience with data analysis and ability to collaborate with ancillary and nursing leadership to drive change and improvement.
Demonstrated Quality Program Leadership Experience in the last 5 years, to include managing Leapfrog, CMS star rating.
