Assure compliance with all Joint Commission and CMS standards and Condition of Participation
Provide guidance and advice to the Executive Staff, Directors, Supervisors, and managers, as well as Service Line Teams and the Medical Staff Leadership
Management of activities necessary to remain in compliance with TJC accreditation standards and rules, CMS Conditions of Participation, and State of Delaware Regulations
Conducts and oversees frequent audits through observations and utilizing the tracer methodology in all areas of Beebe Healthcare in order to meet TJC and CMS compliance, as well as supporting quality and safety initiatives throughout the organization
Participates in data compilation for audits and initial and re-accreditation site visits.
Analyzes data abstracted from medical records and collected through other sources to identify compliance, trends, and performance improvements
Serves as an educational resource regarding knowledge of TJC standards, CMS conditions of participation, and other regulatory agencies through continuous self-education and improvement of knowledge in specific regulations
Provides analysis of the organization's regulatory readiness and identified areas of improvement to Leadership on an ongoing basis
Provides assistance to departments and Service Line Directors in developing monitoring tools to assist in data collection for TJC, CMS, clinical outcomes, and other quality/performance initiatives
Facilitates performance improvement initiatives by using proven tools to ensure that those conducted are thorough and credible
Assists in monitoring follow-up to action plans
Develops tools to utilize during record reviews and department performance improvement activities

Experience in case management, quality/utilization review, or outcomes measurement/management preferred
Experience in accreditation activities preferred
Analytical skills required to analyze data
Demonstrated data management skills
Must be flexible and self motivated
Organization, strong interpersonal and written communication skills required
Must be proficient in multiple software applications including Windows, Word, Excel, and database management
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware
Education - Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
